The Joint Rights of Way Improvement PlanThe following statements are made by Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire Council with the West of England Partnership: 20th November 2007: Publication of the Joint Rights of Way Improvement Plan
This will now guide the councils and others as we improve the Public Rights of Way network towards meeting the needs of all members of the community. As we have prepared the ROWIP we have been considering the comments and ideas of many organisations and individuals. We have received over 3000 completed questionnaires. The public and organisations attended consultation events and comments and suggestions were made on our draft document. Members of the Joint Local Access Forum have also been involved as the ROWIP has been developed. We are very grateful to all of those who have helped us in this way. The councils have now published the ROWIP. Paper copies of the ROWIP are being distributed over coming days to organisations and members of the public who have been involved in the preparation of the ROWIP. The ROWIP is available here as a PDF document to download. This file is very large and suitable only for broadband-type internet connections: (CARE! LARGE FILE 9Mb, 52xA4 pages) If you would like to be sent a full-colour print copy of the ROWIP, please contact us using the details below.
