National Handbook for LAF Members

In April 2008 Natural England published a 'Handbook for LAF Members'. The handbook is designed for viewing online. The 278 page document has clickable links for viewing on screen.

How to use the Handbook:

The Handbook is designed as a source of information and ideas. It is not expected that LAF members will want to read it all but will visit specific areas dealing with subjects of current interest to them. To avoid repetition, there are links that can be used to switch between areas, where necessary. The suggestions about how LAFs can make a difference are not intended to be exhaustive. There are many ways in which LAFs can contribute to the development of access and recreation in their areas. New ideas will emerge and we are keen to share effective ideas with other LAF members so all can benefit.
